City voters approve Measure C, a medical cannabis tax, according to Ballotpedia.
Council votes 5 to 2 to close all medical dispensaries and to write a regulatory ordinance allowing a limited number.
Ordinance 1785 N.C. (2d) lets the 11 medical dispensaries permitted as of 1 October 2017 sell adult-use cannabis and deliver.
After a rival's appeal, council attaches a $600,000 annual community benefit to V-Town Farms' permit, the Vallejo Sun reported.
Council votes 4 to 1 on first reading to ban smoking in multi-unit homes, cannabis smoke included.
Where are the seven?
The city's list dated December 2018 counted 11 operators in compliance. Sonoma Boulevard has Better Health Group at 3611 and Highway 29 Healthcare at 3737. STIIIZY is on Robles Way, US Bloom on Springs Road, and Vallejo Relief Center on Henry Street. California Collective Care is at 1639 Lewis Brown Drive and Life Enhancement Services at 1966 Broadway. The 2022 smoking vote matters to renters, because it covers cannabis smoke. A Solano County Superior Court judge later rejected the rival's court petition over V-Town Farms's permit.
