How it works

How cannabis is sold in Adelanto

Six Adelanto addresses carry state retail licences, and none of them is on the two roads the city names for storefront dispensaries.

Compare the street. The city's cannabis page describes a dispensary overlay along Palmdale Road between Highway 395 and Caughlin Road, and along Highway 395 between Palmdale Road and Holly Road. The register addresses are Chamberlaine Way, Bartlett Avenue, Air Expressway, Adelanto Road and two on Rancho Road.
Read the entity, not the shop sign. Jet Room, Inc. at 17499 Adelanto Road and Status IE LLC at 11619 Rancho Road are company names.
Look up the licence number. Each entry has a C10 number, for example C10-0000057-LIC for Jet Room, and the Department of Cannabis Control lookup shows whether it is active.
Ask about walk-ins. A retail licence can be delivery-only, so phone before you drive out to a warehouse address.

Why does delivery matter here?

Adelanto adopted Ordinance 642 in April 2023 to govern non-storefront delivery, according to the city's published ordinances. That is a separate track from the overlay, which may explain a licence on an industrial street such as Air Expressway without a public counter. None of the six has a Verdex score yet.

What the register cannot tell you
