Why does the register show more than the cap?
Verdex lists nine Corona-address retail licences. The cap of twelve applies to storefronts, while non-storefront retail, distribution and manufacturing have no numerical limit, so some of the nine may be delivery or non-walk-in licences. The city keeps a page of dispensaries authorised to open, and it is the better guide. On 4 September 2024 the council adopted Resolution 2024-092, extending the ranked list of storefront applicants until it is ended.
Which streets do they use?
Mostly commercial and industrial ones: Ether on Granite Street, Off the Charts on Industrial Way, MJ Direct on Commerce Street and Hyperwolf on Enterprise Court, plus STIIIZY on East 6th Street. None of these has a Verdex score yet, and several sit on streets that read as business parks, which is another reason to phone before driving over. To verify a licence, follow the licence-check guide; Riverside County towns are gathered under California.
