Who opened first?

Embarc opened on Towne Street downtown in January 2024, and West Coast Cannabis Club followed at Highway 111 and Madison Street in early April, ahead of the second Coachella festival weekend, according to KESQ. The register now shows Desert Kush at 45835 Towne Street, which may be the same premises under a new name; the licence lookup will settle it. The city's rule was that every licensed shop be operating by 26 July 2024 unless the City Manager granted more time.

Where do they sit?

Two are on Highway 111, West Coast Cannabis Club and Off the Charts. Culture is on Oasis Street and STIIIZY on Avenue 42. The tax position may have moved since April 2024, so check the city's current rate. Coachella Valley festival weekends are the busiest test of any of them, so call ahead and read the licence-check guide before relying on a listing. Statewide points are gathered under California.
