How cannabis is sold in San Pedro

What do cruise lines say?

Royal Caribbean's guest policy prohibits marijuana, including medical, and extends the ban to transfers, terminals, shore excursions and its private destinations, according to a September 2026 report on the line's policy. The U.S. Department of State advises not to travel internationally with cannabis products of any kind, including THC, CBD, edibles, vape cartridges and prescribed medical marijuana. Our border-crossing guide covers the same federal logic.

Which of the six are on the strips?

Cannabis in San Pedro: questions

Can I bring cannabis from San Pedro on a ship?

Cruise policies and the State Department's advice both say no. Royal Caribbean's rules cover terminals and shore excursions, and the State Department warns that state legality does not carry across a border.

Is San Pedro part of Los Angeles licensing?

Yes. San Pedro is a neighbourhood of Los Angeles, so shops need city and state licences, and Los Angeles does not allow consumption lounges.
