How it works

How cannabis is sold in Niagara Falls

You cannot take cannabis across the Rainbow Bridge, even into New York, where it is also legal.

Lundy's Lane and Victoria Avenue

Lundy's Lane is the motel-and-strip road, and cannabis follows tourists to it: Buds 4 Less at 7500, Cannaverse at 8189 and Discounted Cannabis at 6915. Canna Cabana is on Victoria Avenue, the Clifton Hill side, with a second Canna Cabana on Montrose Road. Cannabis Cupboard is on Dunn Street. Discounted Cannabis takes three of the eight places we show first: Lundy's Lane, Thorold Stone Road and Stanley Avenue. Verdex lists 21 AGCO stores in all.

At the hotel front desk

The border rule catches visitors on the way out of town, so plan to finish or leave anything you bought before you reach the bridge.

Bring government-issued photo ID from your home country. Use is banned in enclosed public places, workplaces and near playgrounds, so check your hotel's own policy before you light anything, and ask at check-in. Only OCS.ca is a legal online seller. The Ontario section covers driving and consumption for visitors, and the where-to-smoke guide covers hotels and parks.
