Why is Gloucester a label at all?
Gloucester was its own city until it joined Ottawa, and the register still files some addresses under it. Ottawa council voted to allow retail cannabis on December 13, 2018 after a motion to opt out failed, CBC reported, so these stores all come under that one decision. City staff had recommended opting in, and under provincial rules a municipality cannot choose store locations, so nothing in Gloucester is zoned into or out of the market by a local policy. Verdex lists eight addresses; Wavy is the only one on Montreal Road.
Which store is which?
Canna Cabana is on Cyrville Road, Inspired Cannabis on Ogilvie Road, Wavy on Montreal Road and Purple Meadow Cannabis on Meadowbrook Road. One Plant is on Spratt Road, Pakalolo on Shuttleworth Drive. Out & About appears twice, at 665 Earl Armstrong Road and, as a second listing, at 110 Blanca Street. Same name, two licences, so match the street. The Ontario hub has the province-wide rules.
