Etobicoke stores with Verdex profiles
Four have full profiles. Runway Pot is on Dixon Road in the hotel strip near Pearson; Sativa Bliss Cannabis Boutique is on Kipling Avenue in Rexdale. Reserved Cannabis and Bhanga Cannabis round out the list. The Ontario-wide list and rules are on the Ontario hub.
Staying near Pearson? What travelers should know
Toronto Pearson is in Mississauga, but many of its hotels are on the Etobicoke side of Dixon Road. You can buy at an authorized store with a passport if you are 19 or older. Smoking is not allowed in a hotel room unless the hotel has designated it, under the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, and it is banned in any vehicle, including a parked car or a taxi. On a flight within Canada, you can carry up to 30 g in carry-on or checked bags. On a flight to the U.S. or anywhere abroad, carrying any amount is a federal offence, and U.S. border officers treat it as a controlled substance. Leave it behind or use it before you check in. The cannabis use check helps if you're dosing before an early flight.
Delivery and legal online buying
Two Etobicoke stores Verdex lists offer delivery. Ontario law lets an authorized store deliver with its own employees to a private residence between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. — not to a hotel lobby — and lets the Ontario Cannabis Store ship anywhere in the province. A seller that delivers by gig app, takes crypto or e-transfer only, or ships across provinces is operating outside the law; see the Red List for documented cases.
Cannabis in Etobicoke: questions
How many cannabis stores are in Etobicoke?
Verdex lists 45 AGCO-authorized stores in Etobicoke as of September 2026. They cluster on Lake Shore Boulevard West and The Queensway in the south and around Albion and Dixon Roads in the north.
Can I take cannabis I bought in Etobicoke on a plane from Pearson?
On a domestic flight within Canada, yes, up to 30 g of dried cannabis or its equivalent. On international flights, including to the United States, it is illegal to carry any amount.
Can I smoke cannabis in my airport hotel room?
Only if the hotel has designated the room for smoking; Ontario's Smoke-Free Ontario Act otherwise bans it indoors in hotels. Many hotels ban it outright and charge cleaning fees.
Can a store deliver cannabis to my hotel near Pearson?
AGCO rules allow store delivery to residences and private places, and delivery must be handed to someone 19 or older with ID. Ask the store and the hotel first; many will not accept it at the front desk.
Is Etobicoke under Toronto's cannabis rules?
Yes. Etobicoke has been part of the City of Toronto since 1998, and Toronto opted in to private cannabis retail on December 13, 2018.
