See the Red ListThe Mississauga border and the airport
Until April 19, 2023, Etobicoke's western neighbour, Mississauga, had no cannabis stores at all, because its council opted out in 2018. City council reversed the decision that April under Resolution 0103-2023, according to the City of Mississauga. Since then Etobicoke shoppers can compare stores on both sides of the boundary, and the Mississauga list is a short drive away.
- Lake Shore Boulevard West: Caliwood Cannabis at 3351.
- Other roads: Budhub Cannabis on Dixon Road, Cannabis Hut on Albion Road and Canna Cabana on Islington Avenue.
- Near the airport: 416cannabis on Attwell Drive.
Toronto Pearson Airport is next door in Mississauga. Under the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority's rules, adults may carry up to 30 grams of dried cannabis on a domestic flight, and CATSA screens for security threats and does not look for legal cannabis. Any international flight is different: taking cannabis across a border is illegal. Compare hours and delivery, and check the store using the licence-check guide.
