How it works

How cannabis is sold in Seaside

Seaside dates its legal market from a single storefront on South Roosevelt Drive.

  1. Adult possession becomes legal across Oregon under Measure 91.

  2. Highway 420 becomes Seaside's first officially licensed dispensary, at 1803 S. Roosevelt Drive, after a four-year approval process, the Daily Astorian reported.

  3. With 1 October approaching, Planning Director Kevin Cupples grants a temporary sale of limited marijuana retail products from licensed medical facilities, the Seaside Signal reported.

  4. Ballot Measure C4-184, a 3 percent tax on marijuana sales, appears before Seaside voters.

Reading the seven addresses

1803 S Roosevelt Drive is the address the Daily Astorian gave for Highway 420. The register shows Beach Kine LLC there, so the licensee name differs from the sign. Cannabis Nation is at 550 S Roosevelt, Coastal Craft at 200 N and Tsunami Marijuana LLC at 1555 N. Oasis is on South Holladay Drive.

Canna Beach Junction is at 84834 Highway 101 and Western Oregon Dispensary at 38012 Highway 26, both away from the Roosevelt Drive grid. We did not find the vote result for C4-184. The statewide caps are laid out in our Oregon listing.
