How cannabis is sold in Farmingdale

A Nassau County resident of Farmingdale village has no shop at home and drives a few minutes into Suffolk County.

Know why.
The Village of Farmingdale opted out of retail dispensaries and lounges, and the three Nassau towns did too, according to the Long Island Press.
Head for East Farmingdale.
The Press counted Strain Stars at 1815 Broadhollow Rd, Happy Days at 105 Route 109 and Planet Nugg at 2043 Wellwood Ave as state-verified shops outside the village.
Treat the industrial roads with care.
Gazza, Milbar and Allen Boulevards and 900 Broadhollow Road hold the other entries. Those read as business-park addresses, so confirm a walk-in counter first. The Press also named Holy Buds, a delivery-only licence, in its Farmingdale count.

Whose rules apply?

East Farmingdale is in the Town of Babylon, which opted in. According to the New York State Bar Association's account, Babylon requires a special use permit, keeps shops 500 feet from schools and 500 feet from each other, and 200 feet from places of worship.
