Where did upstate's first legal store open?
Just Breathe, at 75 Court St, sold legal adult-use cannabis from 10 February 2023, the first such store upstate, according to WBNG and Spectrum News. It began as a CBD shop in 2021.
Which streets have the shops?
Upper Front Street has Flynnstoned at 1143 and Blissful Buds at 1332. Court Street holds Just Breathe and Solo Greenery at 439. The rest are at 242 Main St, 197 Clinton St and 1167 Vestal Ave.
Does Vestal count as Binghamton?
Sacred Bloom, at 1308 Vestal Parkway, licensed on 7 July 2023 according to Pipe Dream, is licensed in the Town of Vestal, not the city, and sits outside the seven. In Broome County, Barker opted out of retail, while Endicott and Union opted out only of on-site consumption, the WBNG list of Southern Tier opt-outs shows.
Is every storefront in town licensed?
No. WBNG reported on 27 May 2026 that state cannabis regulators closed three stores in Broome County after raids. Pipe Dream named Cotton Mouth Dispensary at 439 Court St in 2025, while the register lists Solo Greenery, so read the name on the door against the register.
