What did the 2014 fight show?

Wheat Ridge's council voted in October 2013 to allow recreational sales, and by October 2014 there were five stores, a Pop Pot report of that month said. Then on 22 September 2014 hundreds of residents filled a council meeting, overflow rooms and hallways included, over a proposed 10,000-square-foot grow and store said to be about 300 feet from a home and on a middle-school walking route. One councilman who had voted to legalise said the new rules balanced the will of the voters against public safety. The register still lists five. The city's own site offered us no marijuana licensing page, so no cap or spacing figure is quoted here. Statewide law is summarised under Colorado.
