Why does the register show eight stores?
The 2018 round licensed four, and the city's licensing page names no total cap today. It lists three licence types: a standalone recreational store, a dual recreational and medical store, and delivery of medical marijuana. Our register carries eight, from Jars at 250 South Main Street to Native Roots on South Sunset Street and Medicine Man on East Rogers Road. It has no field for the issuing authority. Longmont spans Boulder and Weld counties, so check the licence of any address on the edge of town, such as Elevated at 9800 North 119th Street.
Can you get a licence now?
No application window was open on the city's page. The clerk keeps a notification list for the next one. What a buyer may carry is set under Colorado.
