East York's 11 listed stores fall into two groups: the Danforth-side avenues, Coxwell, Woodbine, Pape and Donlands, and Leaside's Bayview, Eglinton and Laird. Toronto amalgamated in 1998, and the AGCO treats the whole city as one opted-in municipality, so these entries share Toronto's bylaws. Verdex lists them as register records without scores yet.

The minimum age is 19, and you can buy up to 30 grams. Addresses include 7th Heaven Cannabis at 1064 Coxwell Avenue, Donlands Cannabis at 383 Donlands Avenue, Growers Retail on Pape Avenue and Canna Cabana on Bayview Avenue.

Where Toronto lets you light up, and where it doesn't

Buying is the easy part in this part of Toronto. Using is governed by three municipal codes on top of Ontario's Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017, according to the City of Toronto:

  • Parks (Chapter 608): no smoking or vaping, cannabis included, within 20 metres of certain amenities such as playgrounds, pools and sports fields.
  • Public squares (Chapter 636): smoking is prohibited within their limits.
  • Building entrances (Chapter 709): lit cannabis or tobacco is banned within 9 metres of the entrance or exit of a public building.

Store addresses split cleanly. Woodbine Avenue (Alphabud Cannabis Company at 1186), Coxwell, Pape and Donlands run north from the Danforth, and a second group sits in Leaside: Kindling Cannabis at 850 Eglinton Avenue East, Nuleef Cannabis on Laird Drive and Canna Cabana at 1723 Bayview Avenue. One Plant Cannabis has a store on Danforth Avenue at number 3003.

Delivery from an Ontario store is limited to its own staff, to a private address, between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. Confirm the store on the AGCO map, and read the licence-check guide for lookalikes. The Ontario hub covers provincial rules.
