Happy Dayz at 69 Mississaga Street East and Miss Jones at 81 Mississaga Street East are neighbours, and Buds 4 Less Cannabis Company is at 64 Mississaga Street West, so three of Orillia's ten listed stores sit on one downtown street. A fourth, Beaverton Cannabis, is nearby at 7 Colborne Street East. Verdex lists 10 stores authorized by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

The rest are on the ring roads: Budtimez on Memorial Avenue, Emerald Cannabis CO. Orillia on West Ridge Boulevard, One Plant Orillia on Coldwater Road West and Sessions Cannabis Orillia on Diana Drive. All are register entries without scores yet.

Downtown or the ring roads

The split is the practical choice in Orillia: park downtown and walk between stores, or drive to a plaza on the edge of town. The buying age is 19 and a sale is capped at 30 grams either way.

  • Downtown: Miss Jones, Happy Dayz and Buds 4 Less on Mississaga Street; Beaverton Cannabis on Colborne Street East.
  • Memorial Avenue and Coldwater Road: Budtimez, One Plant Orillia.
  • Other roads: Emerald Cannabis CO. on West Ridge Boulevard and Sessions Cannabis on Diana Drive.

Around Orillia, Oro-Medonte opted out of retail on January 9, 2019, according to the AGCO list, while Severn, Ramara and Springwater opted in. Buds 4 Less and One Plant are banners that also appear in Barrie and other cities, so look at the address and the AGCO map, not the sign. The licence-check guide shows how, and the Ontario hub covers the rest of the province.
