How cannabis is sold in Santa Teresa

Santa Teresa counted 5,044 residents in 2020, and its cannabis map is one street long.

One road, one border

Garden of Dreams holds 5300 McNutt, and a second licence at Suite 12 of the same address is labelled a manufacturer, so do not count it as a shop door. Leaforo is at 5305, Freshies at 5325 and Hi Life a little further along at 5620. McNutt Road carries on into Sunland Park, where stores advertise numbers such as 1051 and 1155, so a map search for "dispensary near me" will mix two municipalities.

No city hall here

Santa Teresa has no council of its own, so zoning questions go to Doña Ana County. The Santa Teresa Port of Entry is close, and nothing bought here may cross into Texas or Mexico. Verdex scores none of these five and holds only licence and address data, so check the licence on the state's verification tool before you rely on a storefront. Limits for the whole state sit on the New Mexico hub.

Cannabis in Santa Teresa: questions

Can I take cannabis from Santa Teresa across the state line to El Paso?

No. Texas has no adult-use market and federal law bars carrying cannabis across state lines, so it has to stay in New Mexico. Penalties on the Texas side are in the Verdex Texas guide.

Is Santa Teresa a separate city?

No. It is an unincorporated community in Doña Ana County, so there is no municipal cannabis ordinance and the county handles land use.
