How it works

How cannabis is sold in Farmington

Can I take it onto the Navajo Nation?

No. In 2020 the Navajo Nation rewrote part of its criminal code to define cannabis apart from hemp and to raise penalties for growing, possessing and distributing it on tribal land, according to summaries of the change. San Juan County borders the reservation. What is legal in the Farmington store is not legal on the drive west.

Which streets should I start on?

Main Street has All American Bud Company at 403 West, Cgfnm Holdings at 2010 East and Accendo at 3501 East. Elsewhere: 911 Kronic on West Apache, Animacann on East 20th, Farmington Craft on East Broadway, Cannaculture on South Miller and Distinguished Dispensary on English Road.

Does the Four Corners change anything?

Colorado, Utah and Arizona meet New Mexico there, so the map invites a crossing. Taking cannabis over any of those lines is a federal offence, even into Colorado, which has its own retail market.

How do I choose among 31 records?

Sort by street, not by name; the useful filter is distance from your route. The excise step to 14% in July 2026 is covered on the New Mexico at a glance, and the guide to use, tribal and federal land covers where use is allowed.
