How cannabis is sold in Chaparral

Chaparral has no city hall: it is an unincorporated community that straddles Doña Ana and Otero counties, so the counties and the state carry the licensing load and there is no city zoning of its own.

Reading the County Line list

Green Therapy Dispensary sits at 460 South County Line Drive, on the boundary of the two counties, and an early local report counted six shops and more than $14 million in sales in Chaparral. The register now lists 22 records, which overstates the stores: Astro Buds appears twice at 308 McCombs Road, once with a space number. County Line Drive holds 575 Cannabis at 305 and a store at 545. Angelina Boulevard has Area 54 at 764, Riley Way has District 2 at 1245 and Schneberger Drive has Groth Industries at 140. At least one operator has advertised round-the-clock opening, according to a KFOX report on a new County Line store.
