City of Snohomish

A ban under review

Ordinance 2269 followed a campaign by residents and faith leaders calling themselves No Operational Pot Enterprises, or NOPE, who packed the council chambers, according to snoho.com. The council has asked its planning commission to study the ban, probably in 2026, snoho.com reported in December 2025. Until then the nearest shops sit at or beyond the edge: one on the northern edge on Bickford Avenue and one south of the river on Airport Way. That is Hangar 420 Snohomish at 9929 Airport Way, Unit 1, which one directory lists as retailing since January 2016.

The Clearview dispute

Hangar 420 Clearview at 18026 State Route 9 opened on 30 June 2025. County code enforcement had referred the matter to prosecutors, snoho.com reported, and a judge was to meet the operator. The Kushery appears twice, at 16412 Trombley Road and 8526 164th Street SE, and Green Dreams is at 8529 52nd Street SE. Washington limits are on the overview page.
