How two became seven
The 2016 cap change is the likeliest reason for the growth. The state allotment was the ceiling the city started with, and the register now lists seven Bremerton licences, all ordinary retail. Bremerton is also home to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and a Naval Base Kitsap annex, which puts a large employer inside the licence area. Neither the shipyard nor the base is tied to any single shop in our data, and the register carries no hours.
The seven on the register
Kitsap Way has two: Emerald Coast at 6721 and The Novel Tree at 3720. Clear Choice Cannabis is on State Highway 303 NE at 6733. The others are Budeez at 2111 East 11th Street, Destination Highway 420 at 1225 Hollis Street, Fillabong at 3249 Perry Avenue and The Reef at 1107 North Callow Avenue. Washington's caps and taxes are covered in the state overview.
