San Francisco cannabis lounges can now serve food. A law reported by KALW on July 29, 2026 lets licensed retailers offer food and non-alcoholic drinks in their consumption lounges; alcohol and tobacco stay banned. For the first year only existing retailers and their equity partners can apply, and operators need a Department of Public Health permit and must check age electronically at the door.
The city had issued 79 retailer permits, 66 of them active earlier in 2026, KALW reported. Verdex lists 63 dispensaries, 22 with full profiles. The top score is Golden Gate Cannabis Company (9.6) on Jones Street; adults 21 and over can buy, and so can 18-to-20-year-olds with a physician's recommendation.
