About Eaze

San Francisco-founded cannabis delivery brand (2014) with an active state delivery license and Eaze-branded dispensaries in San Diego, LA and SF.

Eaze is one of California's most familiar names in cannabis delivery. It was founded in San Francisco in 2014 by Keith McCarty and, in its early years, ran an app that connected customers with licensed dispensaries rather than selling cannabis itself. The company raised venture funding in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Eaze's more recent setup shows up in the state's license records. As of September 2026, the California Department of Cannabis Control lists an active non-storefront (delivery) retailer license, C9-0000298-LIC, held by Clearlake Growth Fund II, Inc. and doing business as Eaze, along with active storefront licenses under Eaze names in:

  • San Diego, 3455 Camino del Rio S. (Mission Valley)
  • Los Angeles, 5816–5818 W. Pico Blvd.
  • Van Nuys, 7123 N. Sepulveda Blvd.
  • Santa Ana, 1625 E. St. Gertrude Pl.
  • San Francisco, 1685 Haight St.

Leafly shows the San Diego store as a medical and recreational storefront open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, accepting cash and debit, with flower, edibles, vape cartridges and tinctures. Several of the storefront licenses carry "weed delivery" in their trade names.

Anyone considering Eaze for weed delivery in California should know how thin the public information is. Its website blocked our automated access, the Wikipedia history stops in 2017, and the Leafly profiles we found carry one review or none, so we have not published a rating or review summary. Checking the license number shown at checkout against the DCC search is a sensible step with any delivery service.
