Bend voters approved a 3% city tax on recreational cannabis in November 2016, and Deschutes County adds nothing more on top of the state's 17%. That makes a Bend register total of about 20% before you leave the till. Verdex lists 25 stores, from Cannavida at 325 NE Franklin Ave near downtown to Cannabend on North Highway 97 and Diamondtree on Highway 20. Anyone 21 or older may buy up to 2 ounces of flower a day, according to the OLCC. None of the 25 has a Verdex score yet, so treat the list as a register of licences.

For years Bend carried the retail load for central Oregon because neighbouring cities kept shops out. Redmond changed that: voters approved a 3% tax measure and an advisory vote in November 2024, the council set a cap of one dispensary per 10,000 residents, and KTVZ reported Redmond's first store opened in January 2026. Expect some Bend shoppers to have a closer option now.
- Two Diamondtree stores: one on NE Highway 20 and one at 1233 NW Galveston Ave, licensed separately.
- The Sunriver entry: Cannabis Nation Sunriver is at 56789 Lunar Dr with a 97707 postcode. Sunriver is not part of Bend, so ask whether the Bend city tax appears on your receipt there.
- Downtown cluster: Dr. Jolly's at 415 SE 3rd St and Green Cross on SW Century Dr sit close to the centre, while Fyre is at 2650 NE Division St.
Cannabis cannot be used in public places, and hotel and vacation-rental rules vary by owner, so ask before you light up. Our Oregon guide covers limits and price checks.
