Five of the eight Springfield stores at the top of our list are on Main Street, at 1628, 2147, 2600, 3332 and 3650, which makes a drive from downtown eastward a short store-hopping route. Verdex lists 16 in all: Hi Cascade, Lucky Lion, Chalice, Good Karma and Nectar Markets. Adults 21 and over can buy without a medical card, up to 2 ounces of flower a day per the OLCC, and Springfield stores are licensed separately from Eugene's. No Springfield store has a Verdex score yet, so the order follows the state register.

A separate city from Eugene, with its own paperwork

Springfield's municipal code sets a tax of three percent of gross taxable sales by a marijuana retailer, and says a recreational retailer needs a city licence as well as an OLCC one. That is separate from the Eugene rules, even though the two cities share a border and shoppers cross it without noticing.

  • Main Street: Hi Cascade (1628), Lucky Lion (2147), Chalice (2600 Ste E), Good Karma (3332 Ste A) and Nectar Markets (3650).
  • Olympic Street: Deep Roots Cannabis (2155) and Old School Bliss (2090 Unit D) are on the same street.
  • 21st Street: Phresh Start LLC (1623 Ste B).

With five stores on one street, choose by hours and parking rather than distance. Ask about a batch-level lab result on any flower; the lab report guide shows the line items. Cannabis use is limited to private property in Oregon.
