Corridors, hours and community boards

Bronx stores follow the borough's main streets. East Tremont Avenue has My Bud 420 at 1798, whose listing says it stays open until 1 a.m. Hunts Point Avenue has Bronx Joint, which the Bronx Times called the borough's third legal dispensary when it opened. Third Avenue in Melrose has BX Buddiez, listed 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Webster Avenue in Wakefield has Sesh NYC.

Local opposition slowed the roll-out. The Bronx Times reported that its report on a rejected Jerome Avenue application described it as at least the 25th location that Bronx community boards had voted against since October. Boards only advise the state, so this list shows stores that opened anyway.

  • Hours: come from store listings and may change; call before you go.
  • Microbusinesses: one entry on Bronxwood Avenue carries an OCM microbusiness licence, so it may sell mainly its own products.
  • Look-alikes: shops without the licence sticker are not covered by New York's testing and labelling rules.

Our licensed versus unlicensed guide lists the checks at the door, and the state page has the limits.
