Newburgh, NY dispensaries: 13 licensed stores on Route 300

13 New York-licensed dispensaries in Newburgh and around it, along Plank Road and Route 300, with the medical-versus-adult-use licence difference.

This page is about the United States — not the country you picked in the header.

Dispensaries rated: 13
License verified: 13

WRRV reported in October 2024 that seven dispensaries were open in the city and town of Newburgh and seven more awaited approval, and Verdex now lists 13, mostly in two places: South Plank Road, with Cannabis Huts at 165, Cannabliss at 217 and Elevated Dreams at 190, and Route 300, where Green Leaf is at 1400. Adults 21 and older can buy. None has a Verdex score, and the 13 records mix adult-use retailers with at least one medical registered organisation, so check the licence type and the exact address before you drive.

City, town and a medical outlier

Newburgh is two governments: the City of Newburgh and the surrounding Town of Newburgh, and each decides its own zoning. Route 300 and Route 17K addresses, such as Newburgh Kush Factory at 1255 NY 300 and Happy Tree at 99 Route 17K, fall outside the city. WRRV listed 1400 Route 300, beside the Newburgh Mall and the Resorts World casino, as pending in 2024, and Green Leaf now holds that address in our data.

Medical licence: Curaleaf NY at 8 North Plank Road carries a registered-organization number (MM1002D), the medical-program type. Ask whether that store sells to adult-use customers.
Route 9W: Guru Baba is at 5306 Route 9W, a highway address, so check the municipality.
Tax: 13% at retail for adult-use, according to the Office of Cannabis Management.

Questions about this list

Is the Newburgh dispensary list for the city or the town?

Both. WRRV counted dispensaries across the City and the Town of Newburgh, and our list mixes them, for example Route 300 and Route 17K stores that lie outside the city.

Does Curaleaf in Newburgh sell to adult-use customers?

Its entry in our data has a medical registered-organization number, MM1002D, rather than an adult-use retail licence code. Call the store or check the OCM lookup before assuming it does.
