How cannabis is sold in Minneapolis

34 registrations, from the 2020 census
School buffer
300 ft, for schools and childcare
Sales in year one
About $250 million, adult-use plus medical, per the state

Why the map looks like this

The state would have allowed a city to keep stores 1,000 feet from schools; Minneapolis chose 300 feet, for schools and childcare centres, according to Fox 9. Combined with commercial corridors, that puts shops on Hennepin (ADHI Enterprise at 2945), in Northeast on Central Avenue (BlooMN at 2518), and along Chicago and Hiawatha Avenues (Dabney’s Cannabis Co. at 5152). Da Spot Dispensary is on West 50th, Flipside on West 36th, and Dinky Dope on SE 4th Street in Dinkytown.

What the licence numbers say

Most top Verdex entries carry MICRO numbers, microbusiness licences that let a small operator grow, make and sell. The first state-licensed sales began on September 16 and 17, 2025, when Green Goods opened its eight stores, one of them in Minneapolis, according to the Office of Cannabis Management. Check any account not on the OCM list with our licence-check guide; state rules are on the Minnesota hub.
