How it works

How cannabis is sold in Moorhead

The local risk in Moorhead is trusting a directory, because the ones I compared disagree with the register and with each other.

Same address, two names. The register has Rosebuds Cannabis Company LLC at 2223 E Highway 10; another directory lists Ediblez OTC at 2223 Highway 10 E. Check the state licence for the trade name.
One shop, two addresses. Green Goods is at 104 S 7th Street on the register and at 800 S 30th Avenue in another listing. Confirm the street before you cross the river.
Count the licences, not the pins. The register lists seven. A directory counted five as of February 2026, so the counts do not line up.
Use the Highway 10 corridor. The city rezoned it MU-4, which allows cannabis retail; Velvet Leaf Dispensary is at 3324 Hwy 10 E.
Do not cross back with it. Fargo is about two miles west across the Red River, and North Dakota has no adult-use market.

Why so many, so close to the border

Proximity to North Dakota is the reason operators cite for opening here. The other shops are Beezwax of Moorhead at 423 S Main Avenue downtown, The Herbal Care, LLC at 1506 11th Street N, Tsb, INC. at 1321 Center Avenue and Unwind MN LLC at 3505 S 8th Street. Minnesota State University Moorhead and Concordia College are here too, but the age limit is 21.
