Adults 18+ register directly; minors need a caregiver and parental consent. Smokable flower for under-18s only for terminal patients with a second physician's concurrence

Qualified physician certification, entry in the Medical Marijuana Use Registry and a $75 ID card renewed yearly; Florida permanent or seasonal residency required; no reciprocity
Purchase limits
Up to a 70-day supply per 70 days; smokable flower up to 2.5 oz per 35 days
Possession
Up to a 70-day supply, or 4 oz of smokable flower, in original packaging
Home grow

Public use
Prohibited in public places and on public transport (except non-smokable low-THC products), at work without employer permission and on school grounds
Taxes
Medical marijuana and delivery devices are exempt from Florida sales tax (s. 212.08)
