Why do the four listed addresses look outside the city?
The draft sets 500-foot separations in most areas and 750 feet near schools and between facilities in two zone types. The commission's own final vote is not in anything we could open, so treat the city code as unresolved. Our four listings carry Miami mailing addresses: Curaleaf at 9002 South Dadeland Boulevard, Trulieve at 4020 NW 26th Street, RISE at 11561 North Kendall Drive and The Flowery at 11900 Biscayne Boulevard. Kendall is unincorporated Miami-Dade, so at least two of them probably answer to the county, not the city.
What is next for buyers?
An earlier draft, reported by The Real Deal in October 2022, proposed 1,000 feet from schools, churches and parks. New state licences also matter: Florida issued 22 on 11 September 2026, but licensees have up to 365 days to win dispensing approval, our licence report notes.

Cannabis in Miami: questions
Is Miami the same as Miami-Dade for licensing?
No. Dispensary zoning is set by the city inside its limits and by Miami-Dade County elsewhere, and each Kendall or Dadeland address belongs to the county.
Do I need a card to buy in Miami?
Yes, a Florida registry card, which costs $75 a year plus a $2.75 online fee according to the state.
