What is the Knox Road entry?
It is the only listing with a post-office box instead of a shopfront and a numbered company as the name, so it is the one to verify first: look up its licence on the provincial list before you go looking for a counter. Store counts here are small for the population. With 6,619 residents in the 2021 census, five licences work out to roughly 7.6 per 10,000, about six times Airdrie's ratio. That leaves a customer with plenty of choice on a walkable strip. Web directories also name Plain Jane Cannabis at 9909 100 Avenue, which is not in Verdex's list, so treat directory listings as leads, not proof of a licence. The Town of Peace River's public-consumption page covers where use is allowed; for the province's rules, open Alberta.
Cannabis in Peace River: questions
Where does the town regulate cannabis sales?
Peace River says the sale and production of cannabis are governed by its Bylaw 2038.
Can I use cannabis in Peace River parks?
The town publishes a separate public-consumption page; check it before use, since the store licence says nothing about where you may consume.
