Strains for feeling tingly

A physical buzz or tingling sensation in the body.

Based on what consumers report, not clinical evidence. The same strain can feel different depending on dose, tolerance, setting and batch.

About “tingly”

Consumers report it often: 26 of the 74 profiles published in September 2026 list tingly, one strongly (Pink Runtz) and 21 moderately, among them Northern Lights. Researchers barely ask. The 15-item symptom checklist in a 2024 study of intravenous THC (Kleine-Brueggeney et al., BMC Psychiatry) covers sleepiness, euphoria, dry mouth and headache, but not tingling.

Explanations on the table

  1. Anxiety and fast breathing. The NHS lists numbness or pins and needles among panic-attack symptoms, next to dizziness and dry mouth. If tingling comes with a racing heart, read the anxious page.
  2. Blood-vessel changes. A 2024 ophthalmology review (Bondok et al., Clinical Ophthalmology) says THC widens blood vessels in the eye. Whether that has anything to do with body tingles is untested.

When it stops being a strain question

The NHS names weakness or numbness down one side of the body, a drooping face and slurred speech as stroke signs and says to call 999 (the UK number; use your local one) even if they pass. Tingling that outlasts the session, or arrives with any of those, needs a clinician, not a different strain.
