Public use
Using non-prescribed cannabis anywhere is illegal, and prescribed cannabis-based products must not be smoked.
Driving
Driving while impaired is illegal everywhere in the UK. England, Scotland and Wales also have drug limits (THC: 2 µg per litre of blood in England and Wales); the limit offense does not apply to drugs taken as prescribed if you are fit to drive. Minimum penalty: a one-year ban.

What a distance-selling pharmacy means

Specials Pharma dispenses private cannabis prescriptions by courier, so there is no counter to visit and the inspection record is the main quality signal. Online pharmacies must display their GPhC number with a link to the register, and Dagenham's borough council adds no separate prescribing rule. Its register entry records that GPhC standards were met in February 2026, and that it also makes unlicensed medicines to order. That is one data point: the regulator's October 2025 review of 25 cannabis-supplying pharmacies found eight missing at least one standard, so a clean result deserves a look at the date.
