How it works

How cannabis is sold in Wuppertal

The address of Wuppertal's grow is a secret; the address where members collect is not. Wubatz, the city's first legal club, keeps its plants in Langerfeld at an undisclosed site and hands out from rooms on Kipdorf in Elberfeld, according to Radio Wuppertal.

Who let it grow, and when?

Officials from the Bezirksregierung Düsseldorf checked the Langerfeld site on 11 November 2024, then handed over the permit, and the club ordered cuttings from Austria. It planned a first harvest for late February or early March. The register calls it Wubatz e.V. (CSC Wuppertal). The cap is 500 members, and the WZ reported a waiting list that "exploded", which suggests a wait to join.

Can newcomers join?

Ask the club whether places are open, and whether membership needs an introduction. Federal rules apply, including the 21 and over limit for higher monthly quantities; see the club guide. State rules: NRW page.

The register carries no address for the club, which matches the secrecy. A waiting list also means the register's members-only label understates the practical wait.
