How cannabis is sold in Mannheim
Who licensed the Mannheim club?
Who licensed the Mannheim club?
The Regierungspräsidium Freiburg gave CSC Grüne Liebe Rhein-Neckar e.V. its permit on 19 November 2024, in the same batch as the Achern club, according to the state's social ministry. The Regierungspräsidium Tübingen supervises it. Both clubs had filed their papers in early July 2024, when applications opened, and the ministry said 66 more applications were then waiting. The permit also required building work under a security concept before any storing or growing could start.
How large is it?
The Staatsanzeiger reported about 200 members in late 2024, with applications still open, and distribution expected in spring 2025. Federal law allows up to 500 members per club, so the Mannheim club has room to grow. As of 1 March 2025, per Nussbaum, twelve Baden-Württemberg clubs had approval and 72 were waiting, so Mannheim's belongs to a small early group.
Can I buy there without joining?
No. The club grows and distributes to members only. Membership rules are in the how club membership works, and the seller page is CSC Grüne Liebe Rhein-Neckar.
Why is there no street address?
Verdex holds none for this club. The permit fixes the exact grounds, but clubs do not publish them as a shop front, so ask the club.
Cannabis in Mannheim: questions
Is Mannheim's the only club in the city?
Verdex lists one. Other clubs may exist; the Regierungspräsidium Freiburg keeps the licensing list.
Is this a coffee-shop model?
No. It is a non-profit association distributing to members, not a retail counter.
