Consumption brings a CHF 100 fixed fine for adults carrying under 10 g; trial participants may not use in public either.

Growing THC cannabis, even for personal use, remains punishable.
Medical
Doctors may prescribe cannabis medicines without FOPH approval since August 1, 2022.
Pilot trials
Legal purchase only for enrolled adults (18+) in authorised trials, restricted to local residents; one trial per person.
Driving
Zero tolerance: 1.5 µg THC per liter of blood or more means unfit to drive; licence withdrawn for at least 3 months.
