A canton trial in a suburb

The shop is next to the Châtelaine post office, run by the non-profit ChanGE association, and is a canton of Geneva project, not a municipal one. Vernier's own site presents it as a public-health experiment, and Léman Bleu reported 500 clients at one stage before the count passed 1,000. Being resident matters: the register lists it as residents only, and the selection call in autumn 2023 asked for 1,000 volunteers who use cannabis regularly.
