How cannabis is sold in Koh Samui

Arrive on Samui and the shops are easy to find, but the prescription has to come before the purchase.

Get the PT33 first
Flower is sold on a PT33 prescription, valid for about 30 days. Magical Garden says it can arrange one by video call or through a partner clinic.
Choose the coast
CannaMed OG is at 133/11 Moo 3, Maret, in Lamai, open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with 16 strains and CBD oils. Magical Garden is at 78 Moo 1, Thanon Laan Thong, on Fisherman's Village walking street in Bophut, open 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Check who holds the licence
CannaMed OG is run by Happy Life Thai Co., Ltd. Ask the counter to show the licence and the company behind it.
Leave it on the island

Why the licence check is not a formality

A separate investigation ordered in August 2026 is looking at suspected nominee businesses run by foreigners in Surat Thani, including Samui and Phangan, with 110 cases under review by the Revenue Office. It is not a cannabis inquiry, but the point about who really owns a business applies to every shop on the island. The Surat Thani hub lists Phangan.
