Chiang Mai sellers on the Verdex register: three dispensaries and one clinic

Verdex register, September 2026

Old City to Nimman

Haze Buds runs three outlets by the Sunday and Saturday walking streets and the Night Bazaar, with 145/7 Rajdamnern Road as its listed address. Space Trees is at 13 Siri Mangkalajarn Road, growing its own flower. Over in Nimman, The Spot on Nimmana Haeminda Road Lane 11 opens 11:00 to 22:00 and offers help arranging a PT33. Treehouse is a clinic-dispensary on Loi Kroh Road.

What the counter can and cannot do now

Existing licences were not revoked, the provincial doctor said, but businesses could no longer sell flower freely. Prescriptions cover at most a 30-day supply, and the Narcotics Control Board says illegal sales can bring up to a year in prison and a 20,000 baht fine. Full tourist rules are in the Thailand guide, and the Chiang Mai hub has the provincial list.

Cannabis in Chiang Mai: questions

Do I need a prescription in Chiang Mai?

Yes for flower. Since the Ministry of Public Health notification of June 2025, buds are a controlled herb sold only on a prescription from an authorised practitioner, and shops such as The Spot help visitors arrange one.

Which area has the most shops?

Directory sites count about 19 in Old City and 13 in Nimman for 2026, but those are not official figures, so treat them as estimates and ask each shop to show its licence.
