How cannabis is sold in Negril
The only Negril herb house on the register has a smoke room, a beachfront neighbour and a licence date that passed on 29 June 2026.
- Read the licence category. HedoWeedo is recorded as a Retail (Herb House) licence, the type that allows a designated consumption area. Most licences in the same list are the take-away kind.
- Ask about the renewal. The CLA list, archived in April 2026, gives 29 June 2026 as the expiry, and the new store finder does not include the shop. Verdex marks it unverified.
- Confirm it is open. Hurricane Melissa hit western Jamaica in October 2025, so call ahead rather than trust an old map pin.
- Separate the shop from the resort. The Jamaica Gleaner reported in September 2020 that it sits at Rutland Point beside Hedonism II but operates independently and serves the public as well as hotel guests.
- Keep smoking to the room. Outside it, a beach or roadside means a J$500 ticket.
What does the range look like?
The 2020 report described Jamaican-grown flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges, concentrates, tinctures and topicals, with a soft opening in July 2020. That is six years old, so treat it as history, not a menu.
Where do Negril's other options sit?
An older CLA entry, Apollon Formularies, had expired by the time the listing was checked and is left out. The regional picture is in our herb house guide.
