What comes out of the greenhouse?
The hospital's present product has 13 percent THC and is described as suitable for patients starting treatment, with higher-CBD strains planned. Johann is distributed through Pharmos, so pharmacies elsewhere in the country can order it. Plants are cloned and propagated in sterile laboratory conditions, and FNUSA also tests other growers' plants for the HPLV virus. Doctor Radovan Hřib was the first in the country to offer capsules, and FNUSA calls its self-sufficient grow globally unique.
Is this a place to shop?
No. It is a hospital pharmacy at Pekařská 664/53, and the medicine is for pain-clinic patients with a prescription. Johann is named after Gregor Johann Mendel, the Brno monk, and reached pharmacies practically immediately after distribution, FNUSA says.
