€601 is where the fine starts for a cannabis plant that a passer-by can see. The shop sells the tent; the penalty falls on the balcony. Verdex lists three Spanish grow shops. Alchimia, run from Vilamalla near Girona since 2001, says it stocks more than 3,000 varieties from over 110 seed banks.
Growbarato, a Valencia chain and online store, listed 14,658 products from 631 brands in September 2026; its locator claims more than 70 shops, while its homepage says more than 40. La Huerta in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat sells seeds strictly for collecting and restricts sales to adults.

Kit is legal; what you do with it decides
Lights, tents, nutrients and vaporizers are ordinary retail goods, and seeds are sold because they are not a controlled part of the plant. The risks come with the plant and with CBD.

Spanish law sets no plant limit; courts ask whether the harvest matches one person's use. Law-firm summaries note people prosecuted over a single plant and acquitted with 40 or 50. A grow shop can tell you how to run a tent, but cannot tell you what a judge will accept.
Delivery thresholds differ: Growbarato and Alchimia ship free within mainland Spain from €30, La Huerta from €50. Check any CBD item's label for a batch THC figure, and read Spain's rules on private use and fines and the CBD flower ruling.

Yes for growing equipment and seeds, which are not controlled under Spanish law. Shops such as Alchimia and La Huerta remind buyers that germination is illegal in most countries, and that growing in Spain is tolerated only in private.
How many cannabis plants can I grow at home in Spain?
The law sets no limit. Courts decide whether a grow is for personal use, and plants visible from the street are a separate serious administrative offence with fines from €601, under Organic Law 4/2015.
Can Spanish grow shops sell CBD flowers?
They do, but flowers are risky. The Supreme Court ruled on April 23, 2026 (STS 301/2026) that hemp flower batches with 0.3% to 0.7% THC fall under the drug-trafficking article of the Penal Code.
