About Mamedica

London medical cannabis clinic with its own GPhC-registered dispensary; CQC-registered and rated Good at its previous address; onboarding from £49.

Mamedica is a private medical cannabis clinic headquartered in Holborn, London, that consults patients remotely and fills prescriptions through its own distance-selling pharmacy, Mamedica Dispensary, in Basildon, Essex. Search results citing Wikipedia say the company was founded in 2021 by Jon Robson and launched in 2022. The clinic now says it has supported more than 15,000 patients, and it was ranked eighth in the Sunday Times 100 list of fast-growing private companies for 2026.

Mamedica Limited is registered with the CQC for remote clinical advice. The Holborn location was registered on 31 October 2024 and has not yet been inspected there; at its previous Lower Sloane Street address the service was rated Good in all five areas in 2024, after earlier concerns had been resolved. That report also mentions patient complaints about prescription delays and the steps taken to cut them. The dispensary is on the GPhC register and met every standard at its November 2024 inspection.

  • One-off onboarding: Flex £49, Standard £150, Access £200 or Transfer £75.
  • Follow-up fees apply; the Access scheme waives clinic fees for eligible students, NHS staff, veterans and benefit claimants.
  • Forms offered include flower, oils, vapes, pastilles and capsules.

To qualify, the clinic says a patient needs a diagnosed condition that failed to improve after two or more licensed treatments. It lists chronic pain, anxiety, depression, ADHD, arthritis, PTSD, fibromyalgia and insomnia among the areas it treats. Trustpilot reviewers mostly praise named staff and a smooth onboarding, while negative reviews mention fees, refund rules and courier problems.
