About Curaleaf Clinic

Curaleaf Clinic, formerly Sapphire Medical Clinics, is a CQC-rated Good medical cannabis clinic on Harley Street, London, consulting by video UK-wide.

Curaleaf Clinic is the current name of Sapphire Medical Clinics, which opened in 2019 as the first UK medical cannabis clinic to gain regulatory approval, according to Curaleaf. Curaleaf International bought the business in January 2022, and the Sapphire brand gave way to the Curaleaf name on 8 January 2024. The registered location is 10 Harley Street in London, but consultations take place by video, and the clinic says it accepts patients from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.

The CQC lists the location under Sapphire Clinics (London) Limited, also known as Curaleaf Clinic. After a responsive assessment in summer 2024, prompted by fast patient growth, the regulator kept an overall rating of Good, with Outstanding for being well-led, in a report published on 10 February 2025. The report also records complaints about slow or refused refunds.

  • Pay per appointment: £30.
  • Plans: £5 a month or £50 a year.
  • The first appointment is refunded if a doctor decides medical cannabis is not appropriate.

The patient journey is short: an online eligibility check, a video consultation with a specialist, then a prescription. The site mentions free home delivery and points to the group's Curaleaf Pharmacy. It lists a broad range of conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety, ADHD, endometriosis, fibromyalgia, migraine and multiple sclerosis; eligibility is decided case by case. On Trustpilot many reviewers praise quick replies and knowledgeable clinicians, but a sizable share of one-star reviews describe stock shortages, dispatch delays and billing mistakes.
