Curaleaf Pharmacy

Curaleaf Pharmacy is a specialist online pharmacy in Sunderland that dispenses cannabis-based medicines on private prescription and delivers them to patients' homes. It is owned by Rokshaw Ltd, and Curaleaf International presents it as its online medical cannabis pharmacy, saying it fills prescriptions from healthcare professionals, clinics and independent prescribers. Patients cannot visit the premises: the GPhC describes a delivery-only service that supplies a limited range of mostly unlicensed medicines known as specials.

The pharmacy is on the GPhC register as premises 9012275. Its first routine inspection after moving to its current site in December 2023 took place on 10 February 2025 and found every standard met, and the register shows no conditions or enforcement history. Its superintendent pharmacist is named on the website.

Trustpilot reviews are largely positive about named staff members, quick refunds and help with prescriptions, some from patients of four years. The recurring complaints in September 2026 concern delays: reviewers describe orders taking longer than the stated two weeks, DPD delivery failures, gaps caused by ordering restrictions and inflexible courier arrangements.
