Vilamalla is a village in the Alt Empordà, and its cannabis business is one grow shop on an industrial estate, Alchimia, which moved here from Figueres in 2007.
Why put a grow shop in a village by the AP-7?
Alchimia says it opened on 28 April 2001 in Figueres and now trades from Carrer Llevant 32, Polígon Pont del Príncep, two minutes from exit 4 of the AP-7 and about 130 km from Barcelona. The register entry describes an online grow shop with 3,000+ seed varieties and its own Philosopher Seeds line. The location is a motorway junction, not a town centre.
Do French customers really come?
The company's own history says many already crossed the border in person before its web shop widened the reach. That is the shop's account and Verdex has no visitor numbers, so treat it as a description, not a measurement.
Are seeds legal to sell here?
Spanish legal explainers put it plainly: a seed holds no active substance and is not on the controlled lists, so selling one is not the offence. Growing is different. Organic Law 4/2015 fines plants visible from a public place, and the fine starts at €601. The Spain fines guide has the ranges.
Is there a cannabis club in Vilamalla?
