How it works

How cannabis is sold in Valencia

The local risk in Valencia is mistaking a seed bank's address for a shop, since Sweet Seeds is listed without a street address and sells online.

What to verify before ordering

  • Find the counter, if any. Company records give its office as Calle Reverendo José María Pinazo 9, bajo, 46020; the register itself shows no address, so do not turn up unannounced.
  • Read the collectible wording. Seeds are sold to adults as collectibles, per the register. Spanish sources say the seed itself is uncontrolled.
  • Check the dates. The bank was started by Juan Manuel and Vicente Hernández in Valencia in 2005, and its Fast Version line launched in 2013.
  • Confirm shipping terms. EU delivery rules vary, and customs, not Spanish law, applies at the receiving end.

Where the risk begins

Valencia city has cannabis clubs, but Spain has no statute for them, and the Catalan attempt to write one was annulled on 19 September 2018. Read strain descriptions as marketing: the 6 to 7 weeks of flowering quoted for Fast Version is the breeder's claim, not a tested figure. A seed order is legal. Plants visible from the street are not: Organic Law 4/2015 fines them from €601. The Valencian Community hub lists the other sellers, and the driving guide covers the roadside penalty.
