Possession
Up to 7 g is not a crime for adults; 7–28 g goes to a tribunal with a €50–€100 fine.
Home grow
Up to 4 plants and up to 50 g of dried cannabis at your residence, not visible from outside; growing outside the home can be fined up to €1,000.
Public use
€235 fine in public or wherever the smell causes a nuisance to others; €300–€500 in front of a minor.
Where to buy
Only ARUC-licensed non-profit associations; members must be Malta residents, one association per person.
Association limits
7 g a day and 50 g a month per member; resin allowed since May 2025 at 1 g = 3 g flower.
Minimum age
18 (some associations require 21).
Tourists
Cannot join associations, so there is no legal way for visitors to buy.
Driving

South Flowers says its flower grows under the Mediterranean sun, when most Maltese associations grow indoors. The registry also lists Golden Leaf in Fgura, and neighbouring Żabbar is where Sprawt and NEGE run southern sites, so a member who cannot get in has options within a short drive.

Does the stock cap matter to members?
