That puts it in a different bracket from the medical routes Colombia runs through pharmacies. Colombia has no adult-use shops, and a CBD store is not a cannabis dispensary: it cannot sell THC flower, and its products are classed by what the regulator has approved them as, not by what the website calls them.

A cosmetic notification lets a product be sold as a cosmetic; it does not register it as a medicine or make health claims safe. For a condition, the route is a doctor and a pharmacy. INVIMA's medical cannabis page noted that the registration rules for psychoactive phytotherapeutics (1% THC or more) were not yet available, which is why flower and high-THC products lag behind CBD.

Does a CBD shop in Colombia need a pharmacy licence?
